The Society of Union Employees
The Society is an independent Trade Union recognised by UNISON for the purpose of collective bargaining and representation at National, Regional and local level for all staff employed by UNISON, and those employed by UNISON branches.
The Society [or SUE] takes part in the National and Regional Committees with the employers to represent the interests of its members.
SUE is a democratic Union that actually encourages full participation by all its members. There is an ‘All Member’ meeting every two years alternating with a Delegate Conference.
SUE is affiliated to the General Federation of Trade Unions and through the GFTU offers first class training opportunities for all members.
